Removal and Installation
NOTE: The door window glass must be completely raised.
1. Remove the front door trim panel.
2. Remove the side impact energy absorption panel.
3. Position the water shield aside.
4. If equipped, disconnect the actuating rod from the door lock cylinder.
5. Open the clip and disconnect the exterior front door handle actuating rod from the front door latch.
6. If equipped, disconnect the keyless entry keypad electrical connector and disconnect the harness channel from the door.
7. Remove the 2 exterior door handle nuts.

To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
8. Remove the upper exterior front door handle bolt seal.
9. Remove the exterior front door handle bolt.

To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
10. Remove the exterior front door handle.
