Window Regulator and Motor - Rear Door, SuperCab

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the window control switch. For additional information, refer to Window Control Switch - Rear  See: Sensors and Switches/Sensors and

Switches - Windows and Glass/Power Window Switch/Service and Repair/Window Control Switch - Rear.

2. Remove the rear door trim panel.

3. Remove the rear door mounted speaker. For additional information, refer to Accessories and Optional Equipment.

4. Position aside the rear door watershield.

5. Temporarily install the window control switch to raise or lower the window as necessary to access the glass-to-regulator assembly bolts.

6. Loosen the rear door window glass-to-regulator assembly bolts.

To install, tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).

7. Secure the rear door glass in the full upward position with tape, then lower the rear door window regulator to the full downward position.

8. Disconnect the rear door window motor electrical connector.

9. Remove and/or loosen the rear door window regulator assembly fasteners.

Remove the regulator assembly through the large opening in the door.

To install, tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).

10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
