Replacement/Front Seats/Seat Backrest - Front, Center.
2. Un-tuck the zipper and open the backrest cover.
3. Invert the backrest cover and remove the hog rings.
4. Remove the backrest cover.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the seat. For additional information, refer to Seat - Front, Center See: Service and Repair/Front Seats/Seat - Front, Center.
2. Remove the RH and LH side shields.

Open the inner covers.

Release the pin-type retainers behind the side shields.

For LH side, slide up and unhook the upper retainer.
3. Remove the 2 cushion pivot bolts and cushion.

To install, tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).
4. Remove the 2 screws and cushion release handle.
5. NOTICE: Use care when separating the seat cushion cover from the hook-and-loop strip, or the hook-and-loop strip can be torn from the
cushion foam pad.
Release the J-clip, invert the cushion cover and remove.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
