3. Raise and latch the backrest.

Slide the striker pin up/down and align to the backrest latch.

Make sure the backrest is fully latched.
4. Carry out the auto-configuration sequence to program the heated seat module for use with a dual momentary switch.

Start the vehicle and push the low button on either heated seat switch.

Operate the heated seats, monitor the indicators and verify the system is operating correctly in high and low.
