Daytime Running Lamp Resistor: Service and Repair

DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS (DRL) RESISTOR

Removal and Installation

NOTE:  Make sure the headlamp switch and the ignition switch are in the OFF position.

1. Remove the radiator side air deflector.

Remove the pin-type retainer.

2. Disconnect the DRL resistor electrical connector.
3. Remove the bolt and the DRL resistor.

-

To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
