4. Index-mark the rear driveshaft flange to the transfer case flange to maintain alignment during installation.
5. Remove the 4 driveshaft flange bolts from the transfer case.

To install, tighten to 103 Nm (76 lb-ft).
6. Remove the 4 driveshaft flange bolts from the pinion flange.

To install, tighten to 103 Nm (76 lb-ft).
7. Remove and discard the 4 nuts from the front stabilizer bar brackets and lower the rear of the bar.

To install, tighten the 4 new nuts to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
8. Remove the front driveshaft.
9. NOTE: If new bolts are not available, coat the threads of the original bolts with threadlock and sealer.
NOTE: Align the index marks made during removal.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
