Disassembly And Assembly

DISASSEMBLY

Wheel Cylinder Disassembly

1. Remove the rubber boots.

NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the rear wheel cylinder to disassemble, inspect, hone or overhaul the rear wheel cylinder. Disassemble rear

wheel cylinder. 

2. Remove the rear wheel cylinder pistons.
3. Remove the cups.
4. Remove the expander.
5. Remove the wheel cylinder bleeder screw from the rear rear wheel cylinder.

ASSEMBLY

1. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.

NOTE: Coat all brake cylinder parts with High Performance DOT 3 Brake Fluid C6AZ-19542-AB or DOT 3 equivalent meeting Ford

specification ESA-M6C25-A.
