Vacuum Brake Booster: Service and Repair
REMOVAL:

Remove the brake master cylinder; refer to Master Cylinder service and repair.
Brake Booster Hose Removal
-
Disconnect the power brake booster hose.

Compress the clamp.

Disconnect the power brake booster hose.
Brake Pedal To Power Brake Booster Push Rod
-
Disconnect the brake pedal to power brake booster push rod.

Remove the self locking pin.

Remove the (A) brake On/Off (BOO) switch from the (B) brake master cylinder push rod.
3
Remove the brake master cylinder push rod spacers.
4
Remove the brake master cylinder push rod bushing.
Power Brake Booster

Remove the power brake booster.
1
Remove the power brake booster shield.
2
Remove the four nuts.
3
Remove the power brake booster.
INSTALLATION:
CAUTION:Make sure the power brake booster rubber reaction disc is properly installed. If the power brake booster rubber reaction disc is not seated
properly, excessive brake pedal travel and extreme power brake sensitivity will occur.
NOTE: If the power brake booster rubber reaction disc is dislodged, a silver colored valve plunger will be exposed. If the power brake booster rubber
