1. If the vehicle is equipped with a remote oil filter adapter, position the oil filter adapter and install the bolts and the nut.

Install a new oil filter adapter gasket.
2. Position the remote oil filter adapter and install the nuts.
3. If the vehicle is not equipped with a remote oil filter adapter, position the oil filter adapter and install the three bolts and the nut.

Install a new oil filter adapter gasket.
