Install the spring clip with the retaining bolt positioned to the outside of the vehicle. Make sure the alignment dowel fits into the hole in the lower
leaf. See Figure 4. Tighten the retaining bolt until the two halves of the spring clip contact each other.

Repeat the procedure on the other spring.
