8. Install the clutch gear.

Install the tanged washer.

Lubricate and install the steel thrust washer.

Use Premium Long Life Grease XG-1-C or -K or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESA-M1C75-B to coat the steel thrust washer and
position it on the clutch gear.

Install the clutch gear.
9. Push in on the axle shaft and install a new snap ring and flange gasket.
10. Install the front axle vent tube.
11. Install the front axle tube to the front drive axle assembly.
