6. Push the rubber grommet and transmission shift cable through the floor panel.
7. Disconnect the shift cable from the transmission.
1. Unlock the shift cable adjustment lock by rotating the lock upward and removing the cable from the manual lever.
2. Disconnect the shift cable from the shift cable bracket.
8. Remove the 2 bolts and the shift cable bracket.
Installation
1. Position the shift cable bracket and install the 2 bolts.

Tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
