Oil Filter Adapter: Service and Repair
Removal
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Drain the engine coolant system.
3. Remove the front drive axle assembly.
4. Remove the drain plug and drain the engine oil.
5. Disconnect the oil pressure sender electrical connector.
6. Remove the oil pressure sensor.
7. Remove the bypass oil filter.
