F 150 Heritage 4WD Pickup V6-4.2L VIN 2 (2004)
CAUTION: Spark plug wires must be connected in the correct firing order.
1. CAUTION: It is important to twist the spark plug boots while pulling upward to avoid possible damage to the spark plug wires.
Using the special tool, with a twisting motion, pull the spark plug wire off the spark plug.
2. Disconnect the spark plug wire from the ignition coil by twisting while pulling upward.
3. Disconnect spark plug wire routing clips.
INSTALLATION
1. CAUTION: Be sure to orient the spark plug boots so the spark plug wires do not contact the exhaust manifold.
NOTE: Apply silicone grease to the inside of the spark plug and ignition coil boots of the spark plug wire.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
