ISSUE
Some 2004 F-150, Expedition and Navigator vehicles built before 7/19/2004 may exhibit excessive front end accessory drive (FEAD) belt noise when
starting the engine cold. The noise is typically described as a squeal or chirp.
ACTION
Replace the FEAD belt. Refer to Workshop Manual Section 303-00.
