Drive Belt Tensioner: Service and Repair
Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner 4.6L, 5.4L
Removal and Installation
All vehicles
1. Rotate the belt tensioner clockwise and position the accessory drive belt aside.
Supercharged vehicles
2. Remove the supercharger drive belt tensioner.
All vehicles
3. NOTE: The belt tensioner for a vehicle with A/C is shown, the belt tensioner for a vehicle without A/C is similar, except for the ribbed pulley.
Remove the bolts and the belt tensioner.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
