5. NOTE: Lubricate the inner lip of the crankshaft rear seal with clean engine oil.
Use the special tools to install the crankshaft rear seal.
6. Using the special tools, install the crankshaft rear oil slinger.
7. Install the oil pan. For additional information, refer to Oil Pan - 4x2, 4.6L or Oil Pan 4x2, 5.4L or Oil Pan - 4x4.
8. Install the flexplate or the flywheel.
