Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair
Standard Models (Non Bi-Fuel)
PRESSURE SENSOR - FUEL TANK
REMOVAL
1. Remove the fuel tank.
2. CAUTION: The fuel tank pressure sensor must be disengaged from the fuel tank before it can be removed. Push down while rotating the
sensor counterclockwise to disengage it from the fuel tank. Failure to do so can cause damage to the fuel tank pressure sensor or the fuel
tank.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. Press down and rotate the fuel tank pressure sensor counterclockwise and remove it from the fuel tank.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
