5. Remove the B-pillar trim insert and route the belt through the trim panel.

6. Pull out the pin-type retainers and remove the web guide.

7. NOTE:  For pretensioner retractor disposal procedure, refer to Air Bag Systems.

Remove the safety belt retractor pretensioner.

Using the special tool, remove the bolt.

Remove the safety belt retractor pretensioner.

Lift the safety belt retractor pretensioner at the bottom and pull out, disengaging the upper bracket.

WARNING:  To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, read and follow all warnings, cautions and notes at the beginning of the removal
procedure.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable and wait at least one minute.
