Brake Pedal - Adjustable
Removal
1. CAUTION: The brake pedal and the accelerator pedal must be in the same position when installing a new cable or a new pedal. The pedals must
be in the all the way forward or all the way rearward position.
Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the instrument panel opening cover.
3. Remove the stoplight switch hairpin clip.
4. Slide the stoplight switch, booster push rod and the bushing off the brake pedal pin.
5. Remove the brake pedal-to-accelerator pedal cable from the accelerator pedal.
