6. Remove and discard the slippers
7. CAUTION: Use a hub-mount brake lathe if necessary to machine the rear brake disc.
Measure the rear brake disc, and resurface if the disc surface has been scored Install a new rear brake disc if below minimum thickness
specification.
Installation
CAUTION: Stainless steel slipper replacement is mandatory with the service brake pad installation, even if the slippers appear undamaged. Make
sure the slippers are correctly positioned with the slipper ends snug against the outboard end of the anchor plate rail.
1. Clean the slipper mating surface, and install the new slippers.
2. CAUTION: Install new brake pads in full axle sets. Do not install new brake pads on only one side of vehicle.
