Removal
All vehicles
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Romeo engine (4.6L)
2. NOTE: Rotate the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PVC) valve to remove.
Disconnect the PCV hose and position it aside. Remove the PCV valve from the valve cover.
Windsor engine (5.4L)
3. Remove the PCV valve from the valve cover. Position the valve and hoses aside.
All vehicles
4. NOTE: Battery removed for clarity.
Disconnect the 38-pin, 42-pin and 16-pin electrical connectors.
