SPECIAL TOOL(S)
REMOVAL
1. Remove the rear seat cushion and rear seat backrest.
2. Using the special tool, remove the child safety seat tether anchor bolt.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Check the active restraints system for correct operation.
WARNING: IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE BOLT/ANCHOR BE SECURELY TIGHTENED TO SPECIFICATION. OTHERWISE,
THE CHILD'S SAFETY SEAT MAY NOT BE PROPERLY SECURED AND THE CHILD CAN BE INJURED IN CASE OF A
SUDDEN STOP OR ACCIDENT.
NOTE:

Rework the sheet metal to its original condition and structural integrity.

Install a new child safety seat tether anchor as necessary.
^
Make sure to tighten the bolts to specification.
