4. Remove the safety belt buckle pretensioner and usage detection switch electrical connectors from the seat cushion pan.
NOTE: The driver side is shown, other seats are similar.
5. Remove the nut and the safety belt buckle and pretensioner.
NOTE: Note the safety belt buckle pretensioner harness and usage detection switch wire harness routing for installation.

Captains and 40 percent seat
1. Position the safety belt buckle and pretensioner to the seat and install the nut.

Route the safety belt buckle pretensioner harness and usage detection switch wire harness as noted in removal.
NOTE: When tightening the safety belt buckle pretensioner retaining nut, make sure that the seat backrest pivot bolt does not turn with the nut.
