5. WARNING: Lower the rear axle only enough to gain access to the rear spring.
Separate the rear spring from the rear axle.

Remove the nuts.

Remove the U-bolts.

Remove the rear sprig plates.

Carefully lower the rear axle.

On 4x4 vehicles, remove the rear spring spacer.
6. Remove the rear spring.

Remove the bolt and nut.

Remove the bolt and nut.

Remove the rear spring.
Installation
1. Install the rear spring.

Position the rear spring.

Install the nut and bolt.
