Alternator: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the accessory drive belt.
3. Remove the generator bracket bolts.
4. Remove the generator bolts and the generator.
5. Disconnect the generator electrical connectors.

Disconnect the generator stator and voltage regulator connectors.

Remove the generator B+ cable nut and washer assembly.
3
Disconnect the generator B+ cable.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
