Rocker Arm Assembly: Service and Repair
Special Tool(s)
Removal
1. Remove the valve cover.
2. Position the piston of the cylinder being repaired at the bottom of the stroke.
3. Install the Valve Spring Compressor Spacer between the valve spring coils to prevent valve stem seal damage.
4. NOTE: The roller followers are positional. Mark the followers for installation in their original locations.
