Pitman Arm: Service and Repair
Special Tool(s)
Removal
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the steering sector shaft arm drag link castellated nut.
1. Remove the cotter pin.
2. Remove the castellated nut.
3. Using the special tool, separate the steering sector shaft arm drag link (3304).
4. Scribe alignment marks between the steering gear sector shaft and steering gear sector shaft arm (3590).
