Front Crankshaft Seal: Service and Repair

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the crankshaft damper.

2. Use the Seal Remover to remove the crankshaft front seal. Discard the crankshaft front seal.

INSTALLATION 

1. Inspect the crankshaft damper and the engine front cover for damage that may cause the crankshaft front seal to fail.

NOTE:  Lubricate parts with engine oil before assembly.

2. Use the (A) Front Crankshaft Seal Replacer (spacer), the (B) Front Crankshaft Seal Installer/Cover Aligner and the (D) Vibration Damper

Remover Adapter to the (C) crankshaft front seal.

3. Install the crankshaft pulley.
