5. Remove the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS).

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Remove the bolt.

Remove the VSS.
6. Use High Lift Transmission Jack to support the transmission.
7. Remove the nuts.
8. Remove the bolts.
9. Remove the transmission crossmember.

Remove the bolts.

Remove the crossmember.
10. Lower the transmission to access the extension housing bolts.
