After removing the cover as outlined previously, remove the crankshaft front oil slinger, if equipped. On V6-232 engines, remove camshaft thrust
button and spring from end of camshaft. Crank the engine until the timing marks are aligned as shown in Figs. 31 and 32. Remove camshaft sprocket
retaining bolt, washer and fuel pump eccentric. Slide sprockets and chain forward and remove them as an assembly. Reverse the order of the foregoing
procedure to install the chain and sprockets, being sure the timing marks are properly aligned.
