Refer to the 1983 Truck Shop Manual Section 33-20 for draining of fuel tank and fuel sender removal. Grasp sender firmly at pump and pull filter off
pump using a twisting, pulling motion. Push on new filter and carefully index to proper position (Refer to Figure 16). Reinstall fuel tank.
