Reinstall the caliper. During reassembly, inspect the pads and clean the caliper slide surfaces of corrosion, contamination, or burrs. Polish with a
crocus cloth and lubricate with Silicone Brake Caliper Grease and Dielectric Compound (D7AZ-19A331-A). Refer to Figure 5.
NOTE:
ON 1988-91 F-250/350 TRUCKS THAT WERE INVOLVED IN RECALL 92S44, BE SURE TO REASSEMBLE USING ALL COMPONENTS
OF THE BRAKE CALIPER PISTON INSULATOR KIT UNLESS PHENOLIC PISTONS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED.
