Place the 3/4 inch socket over retainer as shown in Figure 13. Using a plastic hammer, strike socket squarely to install retainer onto post.

Repeat the procedure for the second rocker arm and post on the assembly.

After both valve rocker arm and valve rocker arm posts are installed, center the posts in the retainer using a screwdriver as shown in Figure 14.
