FUEL GAUGE INDICATION - VEHICLES WITH EFI AND DUAL FUEL TANKS
LIGHT TRUCK 1985 F-SERIES AND RANGER
The following NOTE will be added to FUEL GAUGE paragraph in Ranger (Page 21), and F-Series (Page 13) Owner's Guides:
FUEL GAUGE When the ignition lock cylinder is in the ACC or ON position, this gauge (FUEL) indicates approximate fuel level in the selected tank.
The fuel gauge may fluctuate during cornering and stopping.
NOTE:
On vehicles equipped with Electronic Fuel Injection, and Dual Fuel Tanks, the engine must be running in order to check the fuel level in either
tank.
