ISSUE:
Reduced engine power or engine seizure may occur when driving through shallow streams or during heavy downpours. This condition may be
caused by the engine air inlet system picking up water. Under severe conditions and reduced engine RPM, hydrostatic lock-up occurs within
the cylinder(s) possibly resulting in engine damage. In less extreme cases there may be a loss of engine power due to bent connecting rods
and a reduction of engine compression ratios.
