ISSUE:

A fuel gauge that always reads "full" may be caused by the float on the electric fuel pump sender catching on the internal fuel fill pipe inside
the midship fuel tank. See Figure 15.

ACTION:

To correct this, install a new design fuel pump sender assembly, E5TZ- 9H307-L, with revised float travel that will not contact the internal
fill pipe.
