The door glass run assembly may drop out of the door channel when the glass is rolled down. This is caused by manufacturing process variations to the
door frame allowing inconsistent retention of the run assemblies.

Dealers encountering customer complaints of dropping door glass run assemblies may add weatherstrip adhesive (Ford P & A No. C0AZ-19552-A) to
the flat surface of the run assembly and reinstall it into the door frame. An alternate method of repair would be to apply a strip of double-backed adhesive
tape (3M Part No. 06379 Scotch Mount Attachment Tape) 15 inches long by 1/2 inch wide to door frame channel. See Figure 33.
