Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair

1.
Disconnect battery ground cables.
2.
Raise and support vehicle.
3.
Disconnect exhaust pipe from exhaust manifold.
4.
If removing left manifold, bend tabs for manifold attaching bolts, then remove bolts and the manifold.
5.
If removing right manifold, lower vehicle, then bend tabs for manifold attaching bolts and remove the attaching bolts and manifold.
6.
Reverse procedure to install. Tighten attaching bolts to specifications in sequence shown in Fig. 8.
