(*) - 1991-model vehicles delivered prior to September 4, 1990 are covered by the combination of
the 6 year or 60,000 mile warranty and the new 4 year or 50,000 mile warranty (i.e., the
customer pays $50 deductible for 4 years or 50,000 miles up to 6 years/60,000 miles, the
deductible is $100)
Affected Vehicles
All 1989 through 1991 F-Series and Econoline with diesel engines.
Reason for Action
To extend the warranty on the Transmission Control Processor. This action is being taken because of confusion that may exist regarding warranty
coverage for this part.

Only for owner-paid replacements made within the new time and mileage limits shown above. See the Warranty and Policy Manual, Section 6.1, page
25.
