Degas Bottle
Degas Bottle - Gasoline Engines
Removal and Installation
1. Drain the engine cooling system. For additional information, refer to Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding See: Service and
Repair/Procedures/Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding.
2. Remove the Air Cleaner (ACL) element.
3. Disconnect the degas bottle coolant outlet hose quick connect coupling.
4. Disconnect the degas bottle coolant inlet hose.
5. Remove the 2 bolts and the degas bottle assembly.

To install, tighten to 19 Nm (168 lb-in).
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
