5. Remove the canister vent solenoid from the evaporative emissions canister if equipped.
6. Remove the evaporative emission canister elbow
INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
NOTE: Lubricate all evaporative emission O-rings with MerPol meeting Ford specification ESE-M99B 144-B or equivalent.
2. Perform the Evaporative Emission System Leak Test. See: Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Evaporative
Emission Canister Assembly Leak Test
3. Perform the Evaporative Emission Running Loss Verification Drive Cycle.
