5. Working from the front of the engine, disconnect the following electrical connections.

Engine coolant temperature sensor.

LH radio capacitor assembly.

Field circuit check connect.

Both plug-in connectors at the generator.
6. Disconnect the cylinder head temperature sensor.
7. Disconnect the Camshaft Position sensor (CMP).
8. Disconnect the (1) 16-pin and the (2) 42-pin connectors.
