ISSUE
Some 2005 F-Series Super Duty vehicles equipped with the 5.4L or 6.8L engine, may exhibit a malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) on with multiple
ignition coil related diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P0351 through P0360, and no driveability symptoms. The DICs are typically set during
deceleration.
ACTION
Do not replace ignition components for this condition. Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using WDS release
B37.5 or higher. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.
