5.4L ENGINE - DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) P2135

ISSUE
Some 2008-2010 F-Super-Duty vehicles equipped with a 5.4L engine, may exhibit a malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) or wrench light with diagnostic
trouble code (DTC) P2135. Various other DTCs may also be present. Drivability symptoms may include intermittent rough idle, idle speed below
specification and/or reduced power.

ACTION
Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

The concern may be attributed to the throttle position sensor (IPS) hardware. Follow the steps in the Workshop Manual, Section 303-14A to replace the
IPS.
