After installation, when inserting the safety belt tongue into the safety belt buckle, make sure the safety belt buckle and safety belt retractor
webbing are not incorrectly twisted.
6. Fold the 60 percent portion of the rear 60/40 seat backrest forward.

7. Remove the center safety belt retractor cover bezel.
8. Pull to release the clips and remove the center safety belt retractor cover.

Feed the center safety belt retractor belt and tongue through the center safety belt retractor cover.
9. Remove the center safety belt retractor.

Remove the 2 center safety belt retractor D-ring nuts (1 shown).

To install, tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).

Separate the center safety belt retractor D-ring from the sheet metal.

Remove the center safety belt retractor bolt.

To install, tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft)

Slide the center safety belt retractor up, releasing the tab and remove the center safety belt retractor.
10. NOTE: Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted prior to installation.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Make sure the safety belt buckles are accessible to the occupant after installation.
11. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
