Material
Removal and Installation
1. Remove the brake pads.
2. Remove and discard the 2 brake caliper anchor plate bolts.

To install (F-250, F-350), tighten to 225 Nm (166 ft. lbs.).

To install (F-450, F-550), tighten to 400 Nm (295 ft. lbs.).
3. Inspect the brake caliper anchor plate assembly.

Check the guide pin boots for damage.
^
Check the guide pins for binding and damage.
^
Replace worn or damaged pins. Lube the pins with silicone grease.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
