Removal and Installation
CAUTION: While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of contaminants or premature failure of the power
steering components can result.
All vehicles
1. Remove the power steering pump pulley. See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Fan Shroud
2. Disconnect the pressure line and return hose.
Vehicles with 5.4L and 6.8L engines
3. Remove the bolts and the pump.
Vehicles with 6.OL engine
