Hood Latch Release Cable: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the hood latch.
3. Remove the push pins.
4. Roll back the air deflector to reveal the hood release cable guide.
5. Remove the hood release cable guide.
6. Remove the remaining hood release cable guides.
NOTE: The remaining hood release cable guides can only be removed by cutting them free from the vehicle body.
7. Remove the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
