Removal
1. Remove the transmission.
2. Remove the bolts, spacers and flexplate (for automatic transmission) or flywheel (for manual transmission).
3. Remove the flywheel adapter housing retaining rings.
4. NOTE: Use extreme care when removing the flywheel front adapter to prevent damage to the alignment dowel pins.
Remove the flywheel front adapter.
